Outervations is run by Dave Gunn, an internationally recognised expert on making information accessible for people with disabilities, and advisor to commercial, non-profit and education sectors, with regular invitations to present at conferences around the world.

With 20 years experience in the disability sector, including 9 years at RNIB, Dave’s accomplishments include bringing about a step-change improvement in access to educational resources throughout the UK, and directly improving global eBook technologies support for accessibility. Dave now runs Outervations, a specialist access consultancy advising on current and next-generation accessibility and usability.

As a seasoned strategist, technologist and usability expert, Dave is uniquely placed to advise on both the immediate implementation of accessibility solutions, but also to make recommendations of progressive strategies for long term benefit.

In any spare time Dave enjoys travel, photography, running and volunteering with local and national charities to support activity events with young blind and partially sighted people.
